There are lots of fun items for your pups here! I haven't purchased the dog treats (unfortunately, my dogs can't have them because they have health problems), but the toys and gear are all high quality.

Excellent store. Has a ton of everything you could get for your pet. Treats, bakery. Organic chew sticks, food, toys....really fun stuff. The girls who were working on this rainy Saturday afternoon were extremely helpful and kind. Will go back next time with my dog

Heard a lot about this place from my mom and sister and decided I had to go check it out while I was in town. Definitely did not disappoint at all my fur baby loved EVERYTHING she got! I hate that I live out of state so I can’t take my fur baby in with me until I visit again, but that doesn’t stop me from buying my pup stuff online from the shop lol. Definitely will be buying all her treats and toys from here from now on!

Great variety, lots of flavors, they care about dog's health regarding their food, transparent with what ingredients are in the treats and food, great customer service. When you visit the location, you can get a sample of the food to try your dog on. For the price, it's better quality food compared to the costs at Petco, Petsmart, etc. when they (pet stores, chewy, etc) have dry food on sale and this company has a way you can save on refills with your food bucket. Check out their website for more details. For example, 20 lb bag of dry pet store food goes on sale for $70. Gangsta Dog has your refill 20 pounds at $55. Prices are subject to change. Favorite thing is the cookie treat case. They have treats with and without icing, birthday, gotcha day, and more. They do offer military discount and do donations to local animal charities.

HACHI-BIT GIVES IT 4 OUT OF 4 PAWS!! OMG yes!!!! This store is a MUST VISIT! So many healthy and natural food/treat options as well as a fantastic bakery selection. Tyler was AMAZING! He greeted the fur-babies with a treat as soon as we walked in, answered all our questions, and allowed our very very picky 17yr old dog to sample items before I purchased them. Also, the prices are surprisingly reasonable! All-in-all a perfect store and perfect visit. You must go!

I knew exactly what I wanted, it was a quick come and go trip for me. The manager was very accommodating with me, and explained the membership which definitely makes me want to continue to shop with them. Definitely pet friendly, I might bring my wild children one at a time. Thank you to this company for existing. Gives pet owners another option besides the big companies. The variety that's in these store, I would definitely refer friends and family.

Very amazing place/staff. Took my dog there on his last day on earth and the worker was so friendly and kept giving our dog treats and gave us some for free. He gave my mom the biggest hug when she started crying. I highly recommend coming here.

The owner of this boutique dog store is extremely knowledgeable about best food, snacks and practices for your dog, and is happy to speak with customers and answer questions. The store has a nice variety of "good stuff" for your beloved pets, including a great selection of dried chews and animal parts like necks, feet, ears, bully sticks, etc. He also has a larger store in Norfolk, VA, with even a bigger selection.

I normally do not write Google reviews but the people at Gangsta Dog deserve to be recognized. I was walking in Yorktown with my senior dog when she went lame and could not make it back to my car. We happened to be right by Gangsta Dog, and I went in to ask them if they could watch her while I retrieved my car. Even though it was a Sat afternoon and the store was quite busy, they graciously took care of her. In addition to being a cute store with fun stuff for your dog, I am so appreciative of their time and kindness. Thank you!!

Such a welcoming little store! The clerk was so sweet and helped me pick out treats for my sweet girl since it was her first time in a dog bakery. They even gave her a little treat to try and she absolutely loved it!! After a long nice walk, I’m so happy I stumbled across this place. We will definitely be back again, and I’m already excited to get one of those birthday cookies when her birthday comes around. Don’t hesitate to give this store a try, I 100% recommend it without a doubt. They have treats, dog toys, harnesses, leashes, you name it. Definitely a great little shop if you’re looking to get your pup out of the house and maybe even take a walk along the beach afterwards. It was the perfect day for me and Henny 🐾💗
